Safewave — Secure Onboarding

What this installs & what it does

Please read before installing — this is part of your Safewave engagement.

Installs Tailscale (a standard, reputable secure-networking tool) and connects this device to Safewave's private network so we can perform your assessment and remediation.
It lets Safewave reach devices on this local network for the duration of the engagement.
The install is visible — it appears in your installed apps and can be removed at any time with the uninstaller below.
Your assessment report is sent to Safewave for review (it is not kept private to this device).
You'll see one administrator/security prompt when you launch it — that's expected. After you approve it, setup finishes on its own.

1 — Download the installer

2 — Run it & approve the one prompt

Open the file you downloaded.
Approve the single administrator/security prompt when it appears.
Leave it for a minute — it finishes and connects on its own. You can close the window.

Removing it later

When the engagement is done it removes itself automatically. You can also run the uninstaller above at any time, and Safewave can remove it remotely. Nothing is left behind.
